Amazing...

I just came back from my first vacation in almost 2 years, so I thought this would be the perfect time to launch my first blog on the new website. The destination was beautiful San Diego, California, and my nephew's high school graduation was the occasion. It was amazing, to say the least, and just enough time away to make me miss home. I caught up with some long-time friends and had the opportunity to spend and afternoon with Julie and her adorable kids for some camera time. Miss H knows just how to work it, and Little B, well, he was so full of energy I felt like I needed batteries to keep up. We had a great time together! In fact, as Julie was dropping me off at my sister's house, H & B told me they had so much fun during our session... I couldn't even convey to these little people just how grateful I was for meeting them, their mom, getting to hang out on Coronado Island and play with their reflection on the beach. They were exactly what I needed and it was... amazing.

Julie is one of the strongest beautiful women I know. We've come a long way... from fighting on a street corner over a boy (5th grade) to growing into ourselves, making peace with our frustrations, and appreciating whatever beauty life bestows on us.  Amazing... one day at a time.
