Session Details

I believe the most important part of a successful photo session with your child is allowing them to get comfortable with me. This is easily accomplished when the session is treated like a playdate and is scheduled when your  child  is fed, well rested and ready to play. I have an eye for detail and allow time to coordinate outfits, accessories, and settings that will create a stunning photograph and compliment your home. My goal is to capture the spirit of your child with a look that is both edgy and timeless, therefore please do not be offended if I ask to go through closets and drawers to find that perfect hat or shirt to compliment your wall color! Lol. Also, I prefer to work with your child directly as capturing their attention and getting eye contact from them is essential. I'm very laid back, love playing games and engaging your child in conversation in order to achieve this. Feel free to go about your daily routine and check on us as often as you would like. Please don't feel like your child must perform for me. I want them to be comfortable enough to show me their silliness, share their dreams, tell me their favorite jokes, etc. and I am willing to stay and play as long as it takes. With newborns especially, I always allow extra time for feeding, changing, and even nap times. If for some reason your child is having a rough day and is simply not up for playtime (we all have those kind of days) we can simply reschedule. I have 3 kids of my own, have seen it all, and am prepared for everything.

My session fee is $350.00 for time and talent and includes a complimentary C.D. of 10-15 high resolution images with unlimited rights to print. I take over 100 images at every session but I handpick the very best for you. I do not show every image I take, but I assure you that the ones I select are the ones that will take your breath away or give you a moment of sweet delight every time you look at them. After you have viewed the proofs I send you a link to a high quality online printing service. I recommend this particular lab, not only because their prices are very reasonable, but their sister company is the professional lab I use for all of my commercial work and canvas prints. Therefore they are able to produce images with the same color and clarity that I see on my computer screen as I am editing. I also offer excellent quality gallery wrap canvas prints for 11x14 and larger. They have a great contempory look and are ready to hang with no framing required. These are ideal for those of you who like to decorate your home with the art of your life.
